2020 Block of the Month

Southwest Sunrise

75" x 75"

Block of the Month for 2020

Patterns are available by subscription for both digital downloads and print and ship paper copies.

Fabric kits are available from Connect The Blocks.com

This project includes both applique and pieced blocks.  The pieced blocks are paper pieced for the most part.  Some parts can be rotary cut and traditionally pieced if you are not comfortable with paper piecing.

Block are different sized throughout the quilt.  The first five blocks are 12" x 12" (finished) size.  The next four side blocks are 6" x 12".  The smaller border blocks are 6" x 6", and the outer border blocks are appliqued motifs which vary in size.

This will be a fun and challenging year long project and I hope you will join us for the journey into these lovely southwest images.

    1. Hi Faith. I am working with a new module on my website designed just for subscription programs. I am making sure I have it set up properly, with the help of my web guru, so it works flawlessly. I have been testing it all week and so far, no bugs. Just waiting for my shopping cart settings to take effect and it will be ready. Thanks for being patient.

    1. good for you! Audrey. You will find that fusible machine applique is about as easy as coloring. Plus I will be posting monthly videos showing how to do each block.
