My favorite time of the year. . . . when a new Block of the Month is finally ready. And here it is.
Click on over to the 2019 BOM tab for all the details. The first installment will be available on February 1, 2019, so bookmark the page so you can come back and pick up the pattern each month.
The Button Basket Block of the Month
That is a beautiful quilt. I like calling it "INSPIRATIONS" or maybe "PEACEFUL INSPIRATION"
ReplyDeleteAnother fantastic BOM.Thanks!
ReplyDeleteART DECO DREAMS. It is really pretty and lends itself to so many fabric styles and colorways.
ReplyDeleteJennifer, I was thinking it had an Art Deco look, too -- without being strident! The lines have been softened with the circular flowers, fan shapes & floating circles. This is really pretty!
DeleteVery pretty. I think maybe "A Basket of Blooms".
ReplyDeleteI think I'd call it "Art Deco Inspirations" or "Art Deco Whimsy". Like Jennifer, I was immediately struck by the Art Deco look, but the lines have been softened by the other elements: circles, flowers, fan-shapes, which have a modern feel while not being space-age! Does that make sense? I have been wanting to make something less "traditional", so thank you, Reeze. This one just jumped to the top of the To-Do List!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like to me a combo of two styles, DECO-NOUVEAU.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful arrangement and I love the shapes and curves. It reminds me of a garden pathway. Call it a Window garden show
ReplyDeleteNouveau Blu
ReplyDeleteI love the color and look of this quilt. I would call it "Fanfaire".
ReplyDeleteVeils of tile through time
ReplyDeleteAs soon as I saw this lovely design I thought ..... 'Decor Fleur' ..... and that's my choice of name for this competition.
ReplyDeleteFor some reason the curvey pieces remind me of waves on the ocean.Maybe its the dart blue that does it I would call it Ocean's Boquet.
ReplyDeleteNOUVEAU IN BLOOM is my thoughts for the name. So anxious to get started on it. Thank you for sharing
ReplyDeleteit reminds me of "a burst of spring"
ReplyDeleteFlowering Bubbles--I see a tub bubbling over with flowers. Fun design!
ReplyDeleteazure bouquet. thanks for the new project
ReplyDeletePRIMAVERA EN AZUL (SPRING IN BLUE) Puede ser un bonito nombre para un precioso trabajo. Gracias por el nuevo BOM. Feliz 2019.
ReplyDeleteYou and the blue
ReplyDeleteTropical flowers
ReplyDeleteMåske kunne det også kaldes "blomsterkurver i relief"
ReplyDeleteSer så spændende ud.
Art-Decorated
